ForeverShe was curled up in a wet cold caveAlone, hurt, scared and quite afraidThe dragon had once been a captive slaveBleeding out, frail, she needed to be saved.She heard a roar, flame, and wings a flutterA dragon was near, maybe it could helpShe cried out weakly, her voice a stutterThe dragon landed, she let out a yelp.“Don't be afraid, I'm here to help” Said heHe showed her his paw, a helping hand.She took his sweet, soft paw as he let beHe led her out into a strange new land.Together they stayed, forever in loveA loving duo in the skies above.
